The main requirements of a mineral water container are:

PET is the preferred packaging material, it is light-weight, transparent, unbreakable, can be easily customized into a wide variety of shapes and offers good aroma barrier.
Mineral water bottles can be produced on all bottle manufacturing machines offered by SIPA: rotary blomoldwers SFR; linear blowmolders SFL and integrated platform ECS. Integrated bottle blowing-filling-capping systems (Sincro-Bloc).
In case of big size containers (up to 30 liters), they can be produced on the SFL and ECS range of machines.
Sipa Berchi production includes a wide range of solutions of wet and dry area machines, in order to match with all the requirements of the Mineral Water market in terms of bottles sizes, products and final output.
Still Mineral water can be bottled with STILLFILL S the gravity filling monoblock, carbonated Mineral Water can be filled with ISOFILL the mechanical isobaric filling monoblock and also with ISOTRONIC the volumetric isobaric filling monoblock. For bottling still water in big containers (up to 10 Lt) Sipa Berchi range includes BIGFILL the volumetric gravity monoblock designed for those containers.
The wet area machinery is completed by the carbonator for water ACQUAMIX.

• PLA containers: PLA is a polymer derived from 100% annually renewable resources such as corn. It offers more disposal options and, showing a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, is more environmentally friendly to manufacture than traditional petroleum based plastics. Furthermore it is not impacted by petroleum-based feedstock costs.
Beverages and products are enhanced with bottles made from PLA polymer: market research clearly shows that consumers believe that beverages and products packaged in containers made from nature are fresher and more wholesome.
